This working being done by a contractor forMUA. I have made a complaint to MUA regarding the entire situation (length of time it has taken, plates, condition of road and construction vehicles and materials taking away legal parking space, etc. I was told they would speak with contract and that the job will take at least 2 to 3 more weeks. I will keep you all updated.

Thank you for submitting this issue, the Traffic and Engineering Department with the JCMUA will be monitoring the situation with Shauger . We have advised them to comply with Jersey City standards, and will continue to inspect the construction jobs that Shauger is working on to make sure they are complying .

The Traffic and Engineering Department with the JCMUA will continue to inspect and monitor the construction work Shauger has been working on around Monmouth Street and First Street area to make sure they keep the area safe for pedestrians and finish the work in a timely manner .

Thank you everyone for keeping on top of this issue. I was informed today by a MUA official that when the job is complete that that intersection of Monmouth and First will be repaved from curb to curb.
