plus the really bad job they have done with the road a few meters up is this going to be smoothed out??

I totally agree with the comment about the jobs being done at Newport and Red Oak. Moreover, they are doing the same bad job all over the whole neighborhood. When they put down asphalt, they shou9ld be required to smooth it with a rake and roll it so that it is not bumpy. They leave sidewalks so that wheelchairs would have a difficult time negotiating over them. Outside my house at 1321 Morningside Dr they seemed to have put the final road "repair" over their hole and did not even smooth it - just like the one on Newport. They are effectively ruining our roads that we pay taxes to maintain.

I reported this issue a couple weeks ago and received a closed notice. I reopened it so further action could be taken. The question is: If "see click fix" is to work for us then why are there so many repeat requests. It seems that who ever reviews the action required needs to read, understand, and validate the action or should have some additional training.

Hmmm. Really. The notice was closed as in - the job has been taken care of? If this is the case, we need to petition the city in a different way. This is just unacceptable - especially the boards over the big hole on the corner. Someone is going to walk over them in the snow and possibly fall into the hole. I am going to take a photo of these issues today and post them.

What about this yellow post and the unfinished road in this picture?

The last time any workers were here was when they returned to put up the yellow crosswalk sign that had been laying on my lawn for weeks. They came 2 days or so AFTER school had started. Come on city. FIX IT.
