Clearly it’s getting worse by the day. Now it looks like the tents are merging together.
Time to set an eviction date for removal of these illegal encampments as they are trespassing on private property and creating a unsanitary situation and promoting blight. We also need to pass a citywide “Sit-Lie” ordinance in Vallejo.
This is a complex problem, not only do these homeless folks need to be held accountable for their actions but there is no excuse for the lack of oversight from the city.
Ignoring it won’t make it go away.
We also need shelters built IMMEDIATELY in Vallejo. The city needs to be proactive in ending homelessness.
