Thank you for using Improve Detroit. This sidewalk complaint has been referred to the City Engineering Department for investigation. Sidewalk repairs and replacements are completed only at the time when the street is resurfaced, during construction season. Our goal at the DPW Street Maintenance Division is to is to maintain the City of Detroit's roadways in order to promote safe travels within the City.

My question is this – does the city of Detroit have any plans to fix the sidewalk on Lakewood between Jefferson and Kercheval in 2019? Is it on the schedule?

I ask this because I am planning on paying to have the sidewalk in front of my house fixed. I would hate to have the city come around and fix the sidewalk on their own a few months after I pay for mine .

Does the city have any plan to replace these tiles this season?

Tiles were replaced 7/19. Issue can be closed.
