Intersection Norwood Ave & Lorraine Rd - Intersection is lacking pedestrian crosswalk; how can we get one please? This is a route that our children use in getting to schools, is a particularly wide crossing, and occurs in a curve where most people speed.

Thank you for submitting this concern. The intersection, to be properly signalized would need to be re-aligned with new curbs and sidewalks so that the length of the crosswalk can be reduced in a proper manner. This type of work is typically done during a capital improvement project. Lorraine Road is currently not within our 5 year capital roads plan but it is quickly approaching as its overall "road rating" has decreased steadily. However, this type of work can also be accomplished through the City's periodic Pedestrian Improvement Project and will certainly be considered for inclusion.
Thank you.
