All vehicles are welcome to park at metered bays, scooters included. Payment can be made via the passport parking app, or with coins 8am-5pm m-f. Payment is not required outside of these hours. There is currently nothing prohibiting scooters from parking here. If the bays are full, alternative parking is available via metered bays and passport parking at 100 NW 14th st. 1400 NW 1st ave. 00 NW 15th st. As well as the multi story parking garage located 1 block north at 200 NW 14th street. Another great alternative is to park in the SW downtown parking garage at 105 SW 3rd st. and hop on the bus or a bike to get to where you need to go! Bike rentals are available in the breezeway on the eastside of the garage.

The problem is that the scooters double and triple park between cars that are already there, making it difficult or impossible to leave the spot. The city needs to mark these spots as car only or else this dangerous problem will continue.
