Because construction did not finish before winter storms rolled in and salt was applied to the roads, the temporary striping does not stick for very long. We have the contractor repaint when the paint fades and has been told to repaint. They are scheduled to repaint this Sunday 3/10. When temperatures increase, the road will be cleaned and permanent paint will be applied. You will know it is the permanent paint when there is black paint under the white.

I have also posted striping issues same area a while back. As of last week i took photos at 630am. The lines are basically unseeable. People weave trying to find their lane.

The contractor was able to find a day with dry weather to repaint the temporary lines. This was later than we had hoped. It has been difficult to find a day when the pavement was sufficiently dry to paint. The permanent paint will be applied when night temperatures warm up to meet requirements. We anticipate this will happen in a month or so.
