We have been making complaints since Summer of 2018 about two large trees aside of our house on 6 Harlem Ave. The deadend has large trees owned by the City that have shown signs of termite damage to the trunk, and we have been requesting them to be cut down since they are a safety hazard. The first issue is that have two bedrooms located on the attic floor of the house that could potentially kill residents if the tree is to fall on the rooms (which are located right next to the tree). Another issue is that because the trees have become so large, squirrels and animals have been finding access to the roof, damaging the house exterior, and breaking into the space above the attic. We have had roof repairs and the squirrels still manage to jump from the branches onto our house. Aside from that, we just had one of the trees that we complained about, fall on Monday morning, where several cars are parked in the fallen area. The trees are a safety concern andbwe need them cut as soon as possible before further damage to the properties and residents.
