A courtesy notice was left at the property regarding parking a commercial vehicle in a residential area.

Thank you for responding so quickly. Unfortunately, I am sure that these people will continue to park their commercial truck at their residence, until they are hit with a citation. Can you please post the text of the actual Alpharetta ordinance that prohibits parking commercial vehicles at a residence? I would like to see actual code section reference and its wording here. Thanks again.

The code is in Alpharetta's Unified Development Code section 2.5.4:

The regular parking or storage of any business vehicle, any vehicle used in connection with a home occupation, or any vehicle with a carrying capacity of more than one-and-one-half (1½) tons is prohibited in any residential district. Pickup or panel trucks, used to provide daily transportation to and from work, are allowed in all residential districts.

Code Enforcement will continue to monitor the property. Enforcement actions are in process.

The City of Alpharetta has resolved this request.
