Description
One block of Glenwood Street is a one-way out, towards New Scotland, running along side of New Scotland Elementary and it is a speed-way.
People speed up and down (yes!) that street all day and night.
When you back out of your driveway you HAVE to look BOTH ways, or you may get hit by someone going the wrong way.
They speed up the street to make the traffic light, more often than not they end up running the red-light. (that in itself is a whole other problem)
So, my question is: When is the police department going to start enforcing the one-way/speed limit "signs?"
...after someone gets killed?
Speed bumps would be useful. I am not interested in hearing the "song and dance" about the snowplows etc. The Town of Colonie apparently has no problem plowing on their streets with speed bumps. (maybe they get a different kind of snow in Colonie)
I hope this is addressed soon, before something tragic happens.
