The truck looks like the same one that is often parked over at Northeast park (on NE 16th Ave). Reminiscent of a gypsy wagon!

Re: Haile suggestion. Just wondered if the commenter would please offer his or her address to the city official who assesses the situation so the truck owner can park at his/her curbside?

This area has been checked for the past two weeks and the person and his truck is not at that location. However I did see the truck properly parked along the 100 block of SE 4th PL by the St. Francis House. The truck does have several issues with it to include being overloaded to the point the driver's vision would be obscured, also the license plate is partially obscured as well. The driver was not located, although he has been around Gainesville for years and has been cited in the past for operating the vehicle in the same condition. If anyone sees him again "camping" on the sidewalk, or driving the truck, please call the non-emergency police line at 955-1818 so that a call for service may be entered and an available officer may be dispatched to deal with the problem at that time.
