Description
When the world is your dumpster... It is non-stop with these people. The trash truck drove right by this mess. I saw rats out there in the middle of the day. It is beyond visual nuisance at this point. We need vector control.

This house was deemed “unfit for human habitation” on 10/24/19. It has not been secured in any way, or boarded up, so people are still going in there at all times of day/night. People use the cover of night to enter the broken back gate and then go into the open garage/house.
This house is a neighborhood nuisance - not only is it in disrepair, it’s also been a place for drug deals and drug abusers – two recent overdoses, 10/26/19 fatality, and 10/29/19 homeowner’s girlfriend/roommate was revived. There has been yelling, screaming, and fighting at this house. Law enforcement responds to the house, but people inside don't answer, as if the house is empty.
Property issues include but are not limited to the following:
• Plastic on and hanging from roof of house and garage
• Plastic in rain gutters full of leaves
• Fascia & soffit rotted and hanging – vent hanging, making attic accessible to pests
• Junk, trash, and miscellaneous storage in yard, behind garage/alley, and porches (old carpet, dirty diaper, couch at garage door, couch in west side backyard, door laying on couch, shopping cart, car tire, etc.)
• 2 Broken Windows with torn plastic hanging on 1 - west side of house
• Boarded window with white wood and tire in window on west side of garage
• Paint peeling/chipped on house and garage
• Bees on east side of house
• Foul smells, especially front screen porch which has piles of trash – where the unfit for habitation sign is posted
• Screen porch door missing screen, with sheet hanging over it
• Wooden boards in tree - northwest corner of backyard
• People in garage - bed in garage and bucket for bathroom with bedside commode and toilet paper in garage
• Garage door facing alley not sealed, hanging, cracked open
• Broken gate in alley – giving access to people and dog
• Overgrown grass/tree behind fence in alley
• Grass not cut out front, along with overgrown bushes/trees
• Ladder on back screened porch roof and laying in front yard
• Bicycle parts left in yard and in neighborhood from people living at the house
• Dog abandoned 11/3/19 and left in open house/yard, and running through neighborhood
• Rats/rodents seen in yard and porch
We’ve spoken with two different Code Enforcement Investigators in-person, and left a voicemail on 11/1/2019, but have not received any return calls. We haven't seen a Codes vehicle at the house since the unfit for human habitation sign was posted on 10/24/19.
We are concerned for the health and safety of everyone in our neighborhood, including children and pets.
