Sure would have been cool to get to this a month ago when it was reported rather than just putting it off until Clean Sweep...

And sure would be cool to have a scheduled, city-wide October Clean Sweep to capture a large chunk of of the phosphorus-laden organics and the summer's accumulation of glass and metal debris....

OldVtr, yup. I thought policy was a clean sweep in both the spring and fall, and in the warm months monthly sweeping of arterials and additional sweeping of every street as time allows, but for the life of me I can't seem to find a copy of the policy :-\

Specifically if TLDR, as posted by our Stormwater Program Manager: "As far as Phosphorous from leaves goes, this is an issue that we are aware of and actively working on with the streets team to address through cleanup in the fall. We have reviewed similar policies in other cities related to leaf cleanup and timing, and will be working to implement these practices in Burlington."

This has been swept.
