This is definitely a constant problem in this area. When I'm going home from work it's day, it's common to see people getting on the freeway blocking people trying to head east on 10600 S. I'd prefer the freeway meters let cars on faster because that ramp gets backed up too quickly.

Green to long and the on-ramp overflows, green to short and the traffic backs up through the intersection exiting the mall onto 106th. Seems like this on-ramp might be a good candidate for allowing 2 cars per meter green light like the North bound Bangerter to I-15 on-ramp.

Thank you for your feedback. We have verified the problem and are working on solutions. The traffic signal coordination along 10600 S is being reevaluated, including solutions to this issue. One option is to sent the westbound left turning traffic in two smaller groups rather then a single large group. This effort should be completed by the end of May. In the mean time we are continuing to monitor and do have a temporary fix that helps the issue. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
