Reported this issue a month ago because of a downed stop sign, now stop sign is missing. Very dangerous considering this is an exit to a child care facility. Attached is a picture before sign went missing.

Greetings on behalf of Alachua County Public Works,
In your previous report of this Stop sign, our office replied and informed you that this sign is not a county maintained sign. The county does not own the sign, nor do we have any jurisdictional maintenance rights of the sign. The issue was initially forwarded to the Florida Department of Transportation being that US HWY 441 is a state maintained road. We were then informed that this was not their sign as well. After further investigation, our Traffic Maintenance Supervisor found out that the sign belongs to 13th Street Mobile Home Sales. He contacted this office and let them know that the sign was down and that it was their responsibility to fix it. Unfortunately, there is no further action our office can take other than trying to contact the owner of the stop sign again.
