I have forwarded your concern to the Parks Foreman.

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. Some of the marked trees and fallen limbs may be able to be left,however, any dead standing timber that has the ability to hit any target on the improved trails will be removed for safety reasons. Many of the downed limbs are blocking the storm ditch currently, and if left, have the ability to back up storm structures in the adjacent neighborhoods. Some trees have been marked that are dead and still standing and have the ability to take out other utilities and/or fall on the trails will also be removed. This work will be performed as weather and workload permit and after other City staff has had an opportunity to assess the scope of work.
