Tree has been put on Nipsco list for trimming to get branches away from power lines. After trimming is complete, the City will trim further. Evaluated by arborist, tree is deemed healthy, tree will be further trimmed once Nipsco is done. Thank for your patience.

Nipsco still has not come to trim the tree branches going into power lines. This has been on their list since 7-29-2019. Please advise when this will be done. Tree in parkway by alley needs to be trimmed!

I spoke to the supervisor of forestry at Nipsco. They could not explain why the tree had not been addressed already. They are dealing with storm damage at the present time. I was assured it has been placed on a work list and will be addressed as soon as possible. I apologize for the delay.

Just checking on status of this issue. Comcast has still not come out to trim branches from power lines.

Hi just checking to see when Nipsco is coming to deal with the branches in power lines.

The Supervisor from Nipsco came in town last Thursday. I met with her and took her to this site and a few others. She agreed that trimming definitely need to be done. She apologized for the delay and said this site would be put on a priority list, so I would expect it to be completed very soon.

Hi Nipsco has cut trees on alley side. Both trees on this corner now need to be trimmed by City please. Large branches have already fallen on cars. I am worried someone will be hurt. Please send someone soon. Thank you for your help!

Thank you for the update. I viewed the tree this morning. We will determine this week if we can trim with City employees or contract out because of the height of the tree or a combination of both. Thank you for your patience.
