Clean Air Council has taken note of the idling truck. The Council is gathering data on idling "hotspots" in the city, where idling occurs most often, and working with Air Management Services to target their enforcement efforts. The Council also reaches out to businesses to reduce their company's idling.

If a bus, large commercial truck or construction equipment is observed to be running its engine while stationary, please contact the Air Management Services Unit at 215-685-7580.
For all other vehicles, (cars, pickup trucks, vans, motorcycles, etc.), please report them to the Police Department at 911. Thank you. (mb)
