Thanks. No sewage smell but the amount of water in the sewer the technician said was suspicious. He said he would guess it may be plumbing issues at the rental homes.

As for the water, I know a lot of the counties have taken to treating standing water to manage mosquitoes. Would be great if this is something the city could do.

10/20/2013 - Service Review: Currently still under review by the City of Richmond government – this team has had problems with equipment breakage - the graders went into the shop and they came back out and they were placed back in two weeks ago - please know that we are endeared to addressing your needs - when the graders come out of the stop this Mgmt Team will increase productivity - rtt

Here is the water in the lot on 12-9-13. This is getting worse in this property and surrounding.

an Arborist had suggested a River Birch tree might help mitigate the issue. Could the City please contact the property owner?

Could the city please check the sewer lines for this property and contact the property manager about the recommendation of the River Birch Tree? Water level was much higher than photo above in the last storms.

I am confused here-

First a technician states that because of water in the sewer in there is a plumbing issue?

The city has looked at the sewer lines already and you want them back out? For what exactly?

An arborist suggested a River Birch would mitigate the issue? How would this solve a water issue?

If this is private property it would be the owners responsibility, if a rental then contact the landlord.
If a technician-(Sewer) has looked at the issue and the sewer lines then he should have noted where
the problem was and what it was and whether it was on city or property owners side of the line.

Also the city has not done spraying for mosquitoes for quite a long time.
It appears that if this occurs after a heavy rain that the ground at the location cannot handle the water and consequently it stands on the grass and sidewalks.

If the water is on the building owners side of the line, then it is the property owners problem and not the cities responsibility.And this is what the photo shows.

They were out for an unrelated issue - I'm not sure if they have checked all they can related to this. The river birch would suck up some of the water. Hoping someone at the city could contact the property manager since I don't have the phone #.

It is not the cities responsibility to contact the property owner unless there is a code or zoning violation.

Figured it was a reach. Does anyone else know who this property owner's #?

Do a property search on the cities website by address and it should give you the property owners info.
