The Sarasota County storm water drainage waterway behind the homes on Center Gate Blvd is clogged with invasive water lettuce as far as the eye can see! This concern was previously reported in June 2018 (#459813), and although "acknowledged", with a verbal promise that it would be cleared in February 2019, nothing has been done. Only the waterways on Wilkinson were cleared this past Spring. This area was severely flooded in the early 1990's. Water up to the mailboxes, fish swimming in the streets.
