Can an access road be created from the 400 block of SW 140 Terrace to the new construction expanding SW 8th Avenue west to connect with SW 143rd Street?

Your request was forwarded to the Transportation Engineering department for review. Unfortunately, SW 140th Terrace is a privately maintained facility and is not under the control of Alachua County. At this time, there are no plans to connect SW 8th Avenue to SW 140th Terrace. We extend our sincerest apologies that we could be of no further assistance with this issue. Please feel free to contact our office directly at 352-374-5245 should you have any additional questions regarding county owned and maintained roadways. You may also contact Transportation Engineering Manager James "Tony" Flegert, PE directly at 352-548-1218 if you have more questions regarding why resolution for the issues you're experiencing at SW 140th Terrace can not be resolved by Alachua County Public Works.
