The corner of Broadway and Salem Street at the traffic light in front of Sun Cleaners used to have a right turn only lane and have no parking allowed on that side of the street. Without it, traffic is a nightmare now that the schools are back in session. Residents, some with driveways are parking on the street narrowing the lane and traffic flow. Cars from right lane are going straight across the intersection and blocking the flow of traffic through the intersection from Salem street. Crossing guards are constantly pressing the walk light even before people are in the crosswalk causing even more backup. It is time to bring the right turn only lane back and stop parking on that side of Broadway at least during months school is in session.
