It's simple, this is not an official complaint forum. If you are serious about your complaint I recommend that you write a letter to the county road dept. and make it official. Anytime an official complaint is received they have to look into it. I agree that southbound Tennent Road is dangerous, but only because the lanes beyond the intersection are not defined and nobody seems to know that the right lane ends and needs to merge left (YIELDING TO TRAFFIC IN THAT LANE). I am sure there is a good reason that the left lane is not dedicated as left turn only.

There are no marked lanes on the northbound side. In some cases nothing can be done easily to make it better. There is no space for two lanes to merge after the intersection heading northbound (Where southbound there is). Please explain exactly why you think there will be a fatality?

A simple solution: establish a "left turn only lane" and a "straight and right turn lane" with mere paint, and a sign!!!!! This will funnel the traffic going straight into the one lane that exists on the opposite side of the road!!!!!! I suppose adding a turning light to the traffic signal would be asking too much. I don't live in this area and cross this intersection maybe twice per week. Have personally encountered a problem or have seen others involved in a problem each and every time I pass through it. So far nothing has been done to correct this which needs such a simple fix

It may seem simple to you to throw in a left turn lane, but it causes a whole new and worse problem...Traffic Congestion. When not enough cars clear the light the negative effect multiplies. Hence the two through lanes with options. There is a protected left turn signal going south on Tennent road!

Just went through this intersection yesterday. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. ON both sides of RT. 520, a turning lane exists!!!!!!!!! Why not on Tennent rd. ???????? A SIMPLE LINE OF PAINT AND A TURNING ARROW WOULD CORRECT THIS ISSUE ON BOTH SIDES OF TENNENT ROAD.

Christmas Day was a mess at this intersection due to increased traffic. Horns blowing, lack of courtesy, two lanes going into one as you crossed 520.

I don't even live in this area but have encountered this situation each and every time I visit. I feel sorry for all living in this area and paying the taxes that you do to live in this county.

Just passed through this intersection again yesterday. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE! Tennent road at this intersection should be renamed ROAD RAGE ROAD!!!!!!! Drivers do not know where to go due to lack of markings indicating "straight and turn, turn only lanes. What one simple stripe of paint could fix. You poor residents of Morganville! Doesn't anyone care!!!????

Do you really think griping about it on here is going to produce results in one week? Write a complaint letter to the County Road Dept.!!! People certainly care and have complained about this, but if not enough people says something then it is not seen as a priority.

The people who take of these things are not telepathic! You have to call or write a letter to someone (writing about it on here doesn't do anything official, ....zip, zero, zilch results will come from this). You need to stop complaining on here because you haven't actually made a formal complaint. You also need to use your brain to realize that there is no such thing as a simple road reconfiguration, it is very involved. They can't just slap some paint out there and call it done. You can't just see your side of it, there are obstacles to making the changes you suggest. Reread this and try to understand.

If it were my neighborhood, I would be writing letters to the powers that be. I don't live there, maybe you do. You write the letters!!! Bye Bye now. No more posts from me. I only continued to post because I keep getting emails to ask if this has been fixed. In my area of NJ, I have seen things get resolved through this website.

It's not my complaint, it's yours, be an American and do something about it. This problem was studied in the past and no changes were made. It was in the Press as well. What type of problem did you see get resolved? A pothole? Some litter cleaned up? You are a "time waster complainer". Give up quitter.

Passed this intersection on Sunday. This time a car actually ALMOST hit me. No one has any direction as to how to proceed across this intersection. I will post no more comments. seeclickfix does NOT GET RESULTS.

I addressed the mayor on this issue. I was told that it is a county issue, not a township issue. I agree...I have seen accidents here, and close calls whenever I pass there. It is almost impossible to make a left onto 520 while heading northbound on Tennent. Rd. It is very hard to see oncoming traffic.
