couches, beds and piles of garbage. Mini and Stanford next to the illegal homeless encampment. Back in the day it was a free ticket to jail don't pass go and collect a court date. Guess that's why I own my own home and pay taxes. it worked. Today they hand out free tents and free food. Go figure. Reward poor behavior good poor results.

Thanks for reporting this issue! Public Works has an illegal dumping team whose sole job is to respond to illegal dumping reports throughout the City. On average this team removes 1,200 pounds of trash from public property every day. We strive to respond to all reports in a timely fashion. If you see someone dumping illegally please report the incident to the Vallejo Police Department.
Depositing garbage and debris onto public property is a violation Vallejo Municipal Code section 7.44.100 which is a misdemeanor offense with a penalty of $1,000 fine and/or up to 6 months in jail. Please do not move garbage and debris from private property to the street or alley.
