I'd like to start video'ing the cars that are speeding and send them in to show the city the qty of cars speeding past children.

@LJenson where did you get a camera that comes with built in radar? I'd like to have one of those, too.

@Frank... you're smart. I like it. My eye can't differentiate 5 mph over the limit, but I don't need a radar to notice 15+ over. 25 Mph is painfully slow. Doesn't look like any drivers are in pain.

@LJenson they have to do speed studies before they can take action on many things like this, video or not.

@Frank. Understood. That's what this post and posts in the past have asked for. They have yet to perform the studies and list reasons why now is not a good time. I am just supporting the originator of this ticket in hopes that a study will get done soon.

@LJenson I would imagine it would be after the Martin Road project is finished.

City of Huntsville Traffic Engineering has contacted the LFHOA and working with them to determine the best placement for a solar-powered radar feedback sign within the development. The sign will be installed as soon as feedback is received from the LFHOA, underground utility locates have been marked, and a crew scheduled to perform the work. The signs are in high demand and we move them across the City as requests are received. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
