Description
There is a large stick (22-24 inches) laying on the sidewalk here. It has some gray/green fungus on one side that I think might be a tree disease. I will not touch it.

I'm glad everyone thinks this is so funny. The stick is still there and it could potentially spread whatever disease is on it to other trees. And for those who suggested I pick it up. If you're so brave why don't you do it yourself. I'm not going to risk it getting on my hands and making me or my dogs sick.
Please fix this.

I walked past the corner yesterday. I did a thorough survey of the surroundings. There was no stick. I was seriously disappointed.
In conclusion:
I went. I did not see. I was disappointed.

Thank God for this site. To think of the epidemic the stick was intent on spreading.
By the way, there is an evil looking pebble on my sidewalk. I have to detour around it. Please have the authorities check out this sinister development immediately.

One other very strange stick realted incident was an elderly man on Whitney Ave. placing them, he was carrying down the street , he stopped ,and with great care strategically placed the stick in the path of pedestrians.
A very sick man who is related to a Yale bigwig, maybe bored . Residents need to keep an eye on the elderly - with the heat approaching also
