I think you meant Oberlin onto Cameron Street. Agreed though, this intersection needs something done to protect pedestrians. I have seen a bicyclist hit here before.

Thank you for reaching out, this area is currently being improved as part of the Oberlin Streetscape project and includes revised traffic lanes on Oberlin at Cameron. Other planned improvements include sidewalk improvements, wheelchair ramp changes, and bike facility enhancements. In addition to the streetscape improvements, the city is working to add a leading pedestrian interval (LPI) at this signal, which gives pedestrians the opportunity to enter the crosswalk before vehicles get a green light, allowing them to better establish their presence in the crosswalk. We will continue to monitor this area following the improvements.
