This 30 mph speed limit is entirely too fast for our residential neighborhood. There are many children, dogs, adults etc. that walk in this area of Kenwood that could be endangered by car is traveling at 30 mph.

The State-wide Statutory speed limit is 30 MPH, unless otherwise posted. The City does have a program where a neighborhood could request a blanket 25 MPH speed limit on local residential roadways, however the Historic Kenwood Neighborhood Association has not made this request.
