Undoubtedly these high mileage mattresses have spawned many other drains on the city's resources - I realize this display complements the illegal dumping across the street that was reported and acknowledged months ago and would be handled "when we have time." How about dispatching the city refuse trucks we see driving around on SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS to clean up these problems? What about prisoners cleaning this up like we see on the highways in some states?
