Having have been an operator cleaning lots in the past I have a different view. These operators are running 40,000lb machines with limited manoverability and visability. They need space! People in this city are in such a rush and try squeeze past or cut in front thinking that the machine is too slow. Stay out of the way to avoid ending up a speed bump.

My father was an operator for over 20 years, and he still managed to make sure that he never hurt anyone or had any "close calls" its the person operating the machine. I was only in a rush to get out of his way so this young man didnt crush me with his loader. it is LOGIC and COMMON COURTESY to look behind you when you back up!! Yes people in their vehichles should watch but so should the men in the loaders, just because your wheels are ten times the size of my car doesnt mean you can just drive it how you feel and we need to all cater to you

Come on people really??? You would all be complaining if the walmart parking lot was not being cleared.

I agree with annoyed everyone would be complaining if these workers weren't out cleaning the lots so come on people give these guys a little slack. They have a lot of areas to clean and we must cater to them a bit.

Hey, where's my post on the P.A. back-up? Ah, it seems CENSORSHIP is alive and well at PA Now dot com!

It's called "the P.A. back-up", usually done in a car, SUV, or half-ton. We were hit by an idiot who backed into us while we were stopped, staring straight ahead, horn blaring.

I've driven in Vancouver, Calgary, Saskatoon, and here...and we have the worst, most dangerous drivers by far. So beware the P.A. back-up, whether the offending party is driving a vehicle or heavy machinery.

if you dont like it then get out of the way and realize that people in equipment cant see every little car around that trys to cut infront of them just give them lots of room thats why the signs on equipment and big vehicles says stay back you drive a small vehicle that can move alot faster then a loader so stay out of the way and you wont get hit or hurt these guys work long hours to help out and clean parking lots let them do their job

GOOD JOB If people see you cleaning the parking lot go park away from where you are cleaning. You are there doing your job so people have a clean parking ,so they don t slip and fall on there @#$% !! USE YOUR BRAIN PEOPLE.

as parkinig lot cleaners we do try our best to stay out of the way, and try to clean the fronts of the stores before they open, but as once said, we do have more than one store to do, our guys start at midnight and pile as much as they can to be picked up later but many times people park beside the piles??...gee, i wonder why that is??...i tell our loaders that if they hit a car throw in the truck so as they can report it missing anstead of crushed!!...what im saying is this, please stay out of the way so we can get our jobs done and get out of there!!

i work nights at walmart and they always ask us to move our cars once they have cleared a space i have never had a problem.by 7 am most of the lot is done and there is lots of room it's just people who choose to park as close to the doors as possible cause they don't want to walk a little bit. there is always lots of space the parking lot is a pretty fair size so next time you see them cleaning an area park elsewhere
