The only statistics they have are from joint ventures with local joint agencies like GDOT (Dept of Transportation), Department of Driving Services and State Patrol.The Georgia Governor's statistics are second hand and their statistics are broken down by counties not by street. The Georgia Governor's Office pointed me to GDOT who has those statistics by street, or, the lingo the operator used was "drill down by street". Georgia Governor's Office of Highway Safety gave me the number for the GDOT Department of Transportation 404-635-2800 to call to verify injuries, crashes and fatalities at this site. The operator also told me Department of Public Safety would have that information. Another runaround. Got this response back 5 days later:

The Department of Public Safety is unable to perform a search by a specific street. We are only able to search crashes handled by the Georgia State Patrol by county. Please contact the Georgia Department of Transportation for statistical roadway information at the information below:

I just contacted GDOT on their Facebook page with a link to this SeeClickFix thread. https://www.facebook.com/GeorgiaDOT

The email given above (dot.ga.gov) didn't work. There's a www before the dot.ga.gov and it sends you to a web portal where you submit an email. I repeated the address in question, the FIVE agencies I'd already contacted that pointed me to GDOT, and was generated an Inquiry number: IMS000000090723.

I also inquired about the GDOT's TADA (Traffic Analysis and Data Application) website, which seems like it should be able to give me the ability to access the real time information directly , which is preferable. http://www.dot.ga.gov/DS/Data
