Coming from 5th st trying to turn onto Rt50 N, or God forbid, CROSS over to Ballston Ave is like taking your life in your hands. Cars come speeding past well beyond the posted 30mph. Visibility down Rt50S is often blocked by cars parked in the 5th & 50/ Bicycle shop lot. In the winter time can be even worse with piles of snow in the parking lot.

I have noticed targeted police enforcement here at times. Traffic does cone down the hill on 50 too fast, but that's because nobody slows down between Dutch Meadows and Cuthbert. Reorganizing the intersection to something similar to a single-point urban or (start screaming in fear now) double-barrel roundabout would give better priority to secondary entrances and maybe calm the madness.

The "targeted" police enforcement has moved to the completely pointless intersection of Wallace and 5th. I have seen a marked cruiser at that intersection almost every weekday between 7:00-7:30 am since February. Such a waste of village tax money

Any enforcement is better than none. Maybe the cops have trouble getting out into traffic to chase offenders?

Police have at least been sitting in the lot for the funeral home watching the lunatics whizz by. I guess that's all we can ask for. Closing this since it's clearly not being viewed by anyone with any power in the village. At least a comment would have been better than nothing. Glad I'm moving...
