the city came and fixed the boiler, we had heat and hot water yet as fast as it came it was gone. the problem seems to be that for so many days we are without taking showers and cleaning so when we recieve the hot water the tenantes are all showering and cleaning , using up the oil that much faster. this is so tiring i don't know how or where to turn next . yesterday it was so cold that i became ill , i feel as if i were living in the past befor there were heated apts or hot water. i am now so cold i cannot keep using the space heater and stove/oven because the bills become to much for me . i have tried to call 311, talked with senator kline's office , tried the reciever, yet here i write freezing. this entire building has so many issues, there has not been any one to clean the halls, there is mounds of garbage on the side of the building, no access to the allie. there are broken windows, there are empty apts and when passing you can hear the pigions inside. there are tenants who are doing repairs in there own apts, tearing the door frames out and stripping down the walls. this building needs help and it needs this help now before there is a tragidiy. please help the tenants of 1535 Taylor ave.

continue taking them to court inventary they will be fined and the tenants will again recieve heat and hot water. don;t step down gather some tenants and fight until the end

The banks receiver showed up on Friday, fives the boiler, delivered fuel, and sent a crew into the building to clean the place up. I met it's managing agent, they seem like good guys. Thank God!

I am closing the issue of this neglitfullowner'{MILBANK R.E.],because it took thislandlord to get enough violations that this owner went into forclouser. I believe that this site, click fix and the entire network of watchers, to get this landlord out and a new management to take over with the reciever. If I had not found this site I the work being done in the apt ,including mine, to be fixed. I live here at 1535 Taylor ave for 81/2 yrs. There has been leaks, no heat,hot water, floors caving in, broken tiles in the bathroom fl. & walls. Now that the city along with HPD, & the reciever my apt is looking like a place where it is acceptable to live, no more mold or any of the othe hazord conditions I had been living in . As a person with health issues I can now relax & thank the people who helped make this happen, also to thank God. once again I am very greatful to this site and those agencys who are watching.
