To make sure this was clearly shared - this is certainly worse when the drains are glogged with leaves but the real issue is the street is not sloped properly at Putnam and Kenwood St - so while water should flow from Magazine down Putnam and flow to the Kenwood St drain, it doesn't. It all goes to the Pleasant St/Putnam drain. That's when the drain is overwhelmed as water also flows down Pleasant from Allston St to Putnam - into the same drain. The fix is to change the slope at Putnam and Kenwood so the water flows from Putnam down to the Kenwood drain. Thank you very much for looking into this
