Thank you this is awesome. If the enhancing sign has been knocked around numerous times, you can imagine how we feel just crossing this street. That could be us getting damaged permanently.

What are the other options? Stop signs?

What is the city doing at Oak Grove and Ansel? It already has the zebra crosswalk, the neon pedestrian warning signs, the 25 MPH signs both posted and painted on the road, red zones, etc. And it's still challenging for people to cross, and even drivers to creep out from Ansel. And the in-street paddle signs that kept getting hit are now out. Is the city still not considering stop signs? If not, why not?
