Hello, I purchased a $600 camera from walmart on 04/12/2020 when I left the store, I drove to wegmans. I was sitting in my car when I opened the box and to my surprise there was no camera in the box. I went back to report that someone had stolen the camera out of the box before I purchased it. They will not give me another camera or give me my money back.

A. I got in a call with asset protection today and they said they would get back to me thursday but that is too long for me to sit and worry about the outcome of this case. I believe they did not go over the necessary steps to sell me the camera.

You received a response from asset protection, so that is a start. Saying they would get back to you on Thursday, is not too long, considering most business have to alternate their responses during these trying times. They may need time to check security cameras.
You could call customer service and speak with them, telling them you do not want to go into the store right now, but you would like to go about a replacement/refund
If you paid by credit card, call you credit company as well and put a hold on the payment
