The ignorant person doing this to our City trees that help clean the air should be fined by PSE&G AND THE CITY .! They should also be made to pay for the removal of the asphalt !!!

He told me when I asked him, that is how I know. Also PSEG hasn't been here since the lockdown started and he finished filling out the whole area.

Why would PSE&G do something like that to a City sidewalk ? If PSE&G had to repair a sidewalk they would use cement NOT ASPHALT They.didn't do this !!!! This person is killing the trees.

PSE&G does not repair a sidewalk with Asphalt ! If they make any repairs to City sidewalks they would use cement !

Now that the Mayor re-opened many City Departments -- I would like to know when this issue will be addressed ? Or is the person responsible for stealing asphalt from PSEG and damaging City trees going to get away with it ?

Blocking a city tree in any way from getting access to water is prohibited according to chapter 321 of the City Municipal code. I have forwarded this issue to Housing Code for inspection.

We want to know if the asphalt was removed and replaced with dirt because the asphalt is killing the tree and we also want the person responsible for doing this Fined .

The asphalt has not been removed - I see it every day. The owner of the home apparently works for JC Housing, so I don't know if he is getting a pass Melanie, I hope not.

Asphalt don't kill trees or there would be no trees alongside highways & the roadways

On May 26th the Housing Code was forwarded this complaint --- It is now July 8th and the asphalt is still covering the trees ! Please tell me why nothing has been done to resolve this ?

Still nothing on this? Someone came to my street to see the weed complaint I made that I HAD TO TAKE CARE OF, do I also have to go through some other channel to get any movement on this? I went by this address today and nothing has been done --- the asphalt is still between the 2 trees !!!
