This is a daily occurrence with non-residents parking here. Too many people are parking in the residential locations on this side of the street leaving no spaces for residents to park - spaces in which we pay for with our permits.
I've yet to see this enforced even though traffic and parking has said they have been sending people to ticket.

How about we deputize the public for parking violations, If a photo of an illegally parked car is uploaded, the owner automatically gets a ticket. Could be a great income generator for the city. And a way to prevent illegal parking that creates dangerous intersections, such as at State/Bradley outside the old Goodfellas, then Bronx Burger, now Mambo Cafe.

The department has and continues to issue tickets in this area, as is the case in residential parking zones across the city. We cannot be in every zone at the same time as we have a total of two vehicles. The mayor has received parking tickets from the department in the past. If this area was being patrolled at the time of the incident, he would have received a ticket from the department.
