City Hall – DR assigned this issue to Police - JW (Communications)

We are having the same concern regarding speeding on Memorial Drive and Western Avenue. The belief is that because traffic is minimal during COVID19, vehicle operators are taking advantage of the reduction in traffic on streets in residential areas and driving as if they were on a speedway. On the news today, there was a report of a drag race in a metropolitan community with a very tragic ending. Neighbors do what you can to support the Cambridge Police Department who like so many city essential workers and others who provide essential work have taken on additional responsibilities to support our community during a time when we all need to do the best we can to work together.
