Description

There is water constantly being pumped from a house that exists to the road. They have tried to conceal the black pipe in a pile of leaves.
We have not had rain in over a week, yet there is still flowing water all the way down Tacoma Rd that stretches across 9+ houses to the drain at the opposite end of the street. Additionally, the grade on Tacoma is not appropriate to allow for proper drainage and this has resulted in standing pools of water. The attached pictures illustrates that the water has been on the road for so long that it has now grown algae.
This illegal drainage combined with improper grade has resulted is major safety hazards in the winter when the water freezes. Now it is creating significant health concerns since the water has become a mosquito breeding ground and facilitated growth for other species.
This health and safety concern affects at least 9 neighbors along the entire street. It can be remediated by preventing the illegal pumping and fixing the grade or adding a drain much closer to the pumping site.
