Description

Another wreck at this intersection because NO PARKING SIGNS ARE NOT ENFORCED along curb of Morgan St. Car traveling north on Snow Ave struck by truck traveling east on Morgan.

I have called the non-emergency myself 2 times now about the gray chevrolet that parks there almost every day. RPD never responds. The people who run C&E park there all day long, it defeats the purpose of having a loading zone and is a huge safety issue. How many wrecks is this now???? I can count 4 I know if just from these posts here on See Click Fix. If you are traveling north on Snow, you cannot see to the left if a vehicle is parked in front of C&E. It's literally going to take someone getting killed here.

This is a sad commentary, maybe the victim of the wreck should sue the city and C&E.

The police reports on recent accidents at this intersection are cut and dry...car 2 (traveling north on Snow Ave) failed to give right of way to car 1 traveling east on Morgan. While that may be technically correct those of us that know this intersection, know there is more to the story. This is a dangerous intersection. Avoid if you can.

The spot was changed to a loading zone but the woman who is in C&E uses it as her own personal parking spot. She drives a little silver chevrolet malibu.

Per the Southwest District Station: Officer Rommel has met with the business owners of the businesses both north and south of W. Morgan St. on Snow Ave. They have been educated and warned. We have also checked the area for violations on several occasions and have not discovered any. We will continue to monitor.

If you see a violation, please call 919-831-6311 to report it, so an officer can be dispatched and address the violation when it occurs.
