Lol , I'm usually in my vehicle. The alderman please he's a joke I gave up on him I personally emailed & spoke to him about issues in the past & it was like a bother to him. You know 1 of them politicians that will only have open ears when they're running.

I’ve been a part of Fair Haven for almost 65 years and have never seen it this bad.. quality of life is non existent here.. if I had a daughter or granddaughter I would never allow them to walk anywhere... prostitution and drug dealers everywhere... you want to stop the drug sales. Follow the hookers and see where they go.. right to their dealer and usually at warped speed.. I understand the the police department mostly have their hands tied but man do some Drive-bys maybe even stop get out of the car and walk the beat...we need a mayor that’s born and bread in Fair Haven someone that sees the problem and not someone who spends more time sending out phone messages

I been here over 40 years n over 30 years as a home owner & i'm telling you this has been the worst. It's worse than Chapel & Howe St was with the drugs & prostitutión. When I see the prostitutes trying to hang on my street or on the corner from my house I make them move. When Casanova was the District mánager at the Fair Substation he worked with us to set up undercover John"s so we can expose them & raids on the dealers. Now they blame the Covid for not taking action; sell the Covid just started this year. They need to start giving fines to the Store owners since they allow all the loitering.

The activity is still going on; come on ALDERMEN & POLICE Ferry St & Grand Ave needs to get cleaned up with the prostitutes & drug dealers & all the loittering in front of the business. Issue fines to the store owners that allow it. Your not goung to tell me that the alders that live in Fair Haven don't see it.

It's a shame that the John's identity is withheld when they pick Up prostitutes, they need to get exposed this will stop some of them from picking prostitutes up

It falls on death ears and blind sighted; I called and sent emails they do nithing about it. Now a support group along with the mayor are blaming the issues on the Covid. Sorry that's not the case these prostitutes and drug addicts have been out here long before March of 2020; and it's because they know that they can get away with it in this area. Bring back the sting operation back; all you have to do is drive down Grand Ave & especially Ferry St and you will witness all of the drug sales going on and prostitution.

Crime happens in New Haven because we allow it. Don't blame the police. The police prefer to enforce the law. It's the do-nothing, politically-correct Board of A's and other elected officials who give the orders to the police.

This is still an issue, in the parking lot also behind the Post Office bunch of Drug addicts doing drug and the Store on the Corner of Ferry St & Peck St GMart the owner allows drug dealers to sell drugs in front and inside the Store you see lots of people especially from the outskirts buying drugs come on NHPD run the RAIDS

If they were planning on running raids and they were conducting an undercover operation your post may have hampered it.

No it wouldn't these post help back when Casonova was the Sargent in change this area he listened to the residents concerns and took action, that's what we need again someone who's going to put the work in with the neighborhood their working and not just wear the badge

No that's not the case they're using the covid as an excuse now. The mayor, board of alderman & the police dept need to enforce the no loitering and start issuing fines to the business owners that allow it along to the individuals loitering

This is still an issue along these store fronts with all of the illegal activity the store owners should receive a fine & jail time for allowing the drug dealers to sell drugs inside their stores & in front you drive by & you see people coming out the stores loking inti their hands or digging out of their pockets the drugs they bought

The parking lot of Wah Chun is terrible also you have the prostitutes and drug addicts hanging behind the dumpsters doing illegal activity . The plaza owner should be required to place the dumpsters in a locked up area to prevent all of this from happening
