  There aren't many straight-line ways to go east-west through Medford, especially with the Fells and the Mystic Lakes. I sympathize, it would be best if motorists did not use Grove Street for this purpose.

  I think it might be too late. It's hard to change people's habits. I only wish they could undo the "progress" of repaving and smoothing out the street. We want our old bumpy street back. Originally, it was so bad nobody but the residents used it. Now it's like the Indy five hundred and kids are afraid to ride their bikes. So much for progress!

  And the bolts of my dad's foreign car sounding like they were going to fall out. I recall those bumpy roads. He always bared right and came out to Grove Street at Saltonstall Road - the scenic route!

  I was promised for OVER A YEAR AND A HALF AGO by the DPW that the painted stencils would be installed. I have never even had a response, either written or by email by the City as to when the task would be completed. This is a dangerous intersection and even the First Responders don't obey the Stop Signs. It seems to me that the City's priorities are more focused on beautification rather than safety.
  Prior to my Dad's passing, he made it a priority to have those signs installed. Waze did not help this situation.

  It has been over sixty days since I posted the traffic sinage issue with Clickfix and the task to correct this problem has been bounced to another department. Is there anyone at Clickfix or the City of Medford monitoring these requests? How are these requests completed and who prioritizes which ones get addressed?
  Does someone step in when the issue is not completed within a designated timeframe?

  I was just informed that my "Traffic Signal Issue" request has exceeded ninety days. Now that the street is covered with snow and salt,what are the chances of any action before year's end.
  First it was rain and then for over a year all I could hear is crickets. What is the point of Clickfix? There is certainly now due diligence when it comes to following up. Can I get any explanation as to why my requests are being ignored?

  Why am I getting a notice that my initial request is 121 days overdue?
  What are the intentions of the Police Traffic Unit performing this painting task before the snow flies. Does the Mayor or City Council monitor the status of these requests?
  As far as I'm concerned, this whole Clickfix app is a farse. Is this any indication of the performance of Medford City Government at work?
