Thank you for your submission. Left lane laws are something we're constantly educating drivers on. In recent years we have installed various signs along I-15 that say "stay right except to pass." We have also worked with our Zero Fatalities program to educate drivers on the law and the need to keep the left lane clear. While we do work closely with the Utah Highway Patrol on education efforts, it is the responsibility of UHP to enforce highway laws. They do the best they can, but are obviously outnumbered in terms of troopers vs. drivers and can't be everywhere at once. That's why we continue our education efforts to try and get drivers to be mindful of their own driving habits and behaviors. All that said, we will forward on your concerns regarding signage to see if there is additional education we can do in this area to enhance that message.
