Crosswalk from Monroe to Battery Park is extremely hazardous. Southbound vehicles in the eastern lane often do not see pedestrians crossing from the park to Monroe. Vehicles in general are traveling at a high rate of speed and disregard pedestrians. Flashing crosswalk signs would be an excellent addition.
