ridiculously dangerous situation. cars flying down high street with no speed control + major pes crossing with limited vsubity and no warning to pedestrians = a serious injury or fatality this year is practically guaranteed

I think this particular construction site is gone.

There are several other "crosswalk needed" issues reported along High Street in this area so I'm closing this one as a duplicate.
