Neighbors already took care of this issue. We will not wait around for lazy and inept L+I to get off their @#$%. House boarded up, junkies to be beaten on sight.

the last L&I inspection of this house was done from the street, in a car. No one actually inspected the house. How long do houses have to sit like this before the owners are held responsible?

Help resolve this with a comment, image or video...I just recently called philly's 311 because of a house like this on my block, I got all the neighbours to make calls too and L&I was out there in a week. I know its a pain but I have found the more you stick on their butts about stuff and the louder you are about it, the quicker they reslove issues.

this house still sits, boarded up. we cannot make contact with the owner, neighbors have tried. The city needs to step up here

Is this house still an issue? It is a bank-owned property and it is getting close for it to be eligible for a tax-related Sheriff's Sale.

Thanks for asking! L&I showed up about about 6 or 7 months after the call was placed to properly board up the house. However, boarded up it still sits, as a blight to the neighborhood. I tracked it down to a while back, first to find the owners was a slum lord and lost a bunch of his properties. It then went to sheriff sale, even though no item was ever posted on the house for neighbors to know this.
I tracked it down to an attorney, who was one of the most rudest people I have ever talked to...
Now it sits owned by Bancorp... I called a few people with them, all them swear that something is being done to the property, but nothing has been. Im worried that now that spring is about to come, the grass will become overgrown again. Its a shame that another house sits empty that Im sure someone would buy for a decent price to rebuild
