Unfortunately the City does not have enough funding to repave all streets in poor condition. With limited funding, our response to resurfacing requests is limited to minor pavement and pothole repairs only. Our Street Maintenance Department will assess your street and determine whether temporary measures might be appropriate. Please understand that this work may be limited to pothole or other minor repairs, and that we have many similar requests. We will do our best to respond in a timely manner.   This is on Oakport, the part that runs along side of 880 south. Because of the heavy rains, the roads are basically destroyed at this point. The road has been flooded and the holes are extremely deep. I got a flat tire the other night after hitting one of the pot holes. There is also a long stretch of the fence between the road and the freeway that is missing, which seems very dangerous. This whole road needs to be replaced!!!
