It’s really loud right now!

People are constantly racing over the hump in the road going south on Chicopee St. It’s every night and seems the worst Friday into the weekend!

Our officers are working hard on traffic enforcement in between their calls for service. We will continue to monitor the traffic in this area.

There is a light blue VW hatch back in the area around Chattam St that has an illegal exhaust that makes a loud pop when they hit the gas it’s constantly making a ruckus!

We will look into to this complaint on that vehicle. Thank you.

The motorcycle noise is getting pretty bad!

Getting pretty bad? You're to kind. It's a shame that we can't get this fixed.....

There was a recent modification / addition to the noise ordinance, This new law adds instances of noisy vehicles, noisy Motorcycles and excessive engine revving to the city's list of prohibited noises, except for emergency vehicles.

After asking a lot of questions...... It seems the problem is, if you don't know the law how can you enforce it AND According to the city council Lack of knowledge of city ordinances (by police officers) was to have been addressed by the former chief as stated to the public safety committee.

But hey! They are on the lQQk out don't you worry.

Can you please do something about the motorcycles? You can hear them between Chicopee St over to 391 where they are racing!!!

Put a cop over here for a while the noise is ruining the peace!

Come on Chicopee PD please do something about the people drag stripping it needs to stop! The noise is affecting the quality of life around here!
