Didn't the Oakland City Council vote in late October to make it illegal for cars, RV's, trailers to park in residential neighborhoods, in front of businesses & schools? This whole area is becoming a homeless encampment. Look at Hegenberger Loop - near Lighthouse Charter School. Not good. City needs to provide a vacant lot with porta potties, dumpsters & hand washing stations. This RV is obstructing vision of drivers let alone the AC Transit buses. I saw them driving this into the neighborhood - so sorry.

This is a total nuisance. This encampment is growing. No one wants to look out their door & see this mess. I don’t want to see it sitting at the light waiting to turn. City of Oakland handle this problem!!!!

Can you please move this motor home to the old white front parking lot or is this just another situation we have to yield to for the homeless? What about the tax paying home owners? Are we considered at all?

This is a game that no one wants to play, lease of all tax paying homeowners. Have we no say at all? Oh, but you, City of Oakland, want our property taxes ON TIME. you don't mind that this is a hostile enviornment because it is a violation of our constitutional rights as property owners. I know, nothing done is the name of the game. This cite is obviously a venting cite. To say that they are giving us this opportunity. WOW. Proactive just isn't the name of the game here...just live with it. That's the game.!!

Please provide an update on this. It is a hindrance and blocking the turning lane. I have to sit at a light that takes forever just to turn right on my my to my ESSENTIAL job. If a bus is there, I have to sit at the stop sign on Coral, the adjacent street. Additionally, it is a complete eyesore to an already neglected neighborhood. Pretend it's been gentrified and get it MOVED!

Just who does the city of Oakland listen to? I saw a city of Oakland car drive through our neighborhood. What was that about? The only thing I noticed done was a small crew removing the daily trash at the abandoned community center..not even the mattress and debris sitting in the lawn of the center. Are we, city of Oakland, afraid to do your jobs? What a mess. DO YOUR JOB OAKLAND, JUST GET IT DONE. The game of removing the illegally parked motor home at the BUS STOP is just that a cat and mouse game. The inhabitants leave for a few hours daily, I suspect going to work or wherever they go, then return in a different vehicle. They can afford many vehicles...why not pay rent somewhere or go where others who live like this and take up residency their. Yes, I am upset...DO SOMETHING. Pleading isn't working. I really wish their was a group that holds the city accountable to it's constituents like the FBI or something.

Flood & blitz Mayor Schaff & your council person's office, email, social media accounts with photos & concerns. This is ridiculous. Look at all the crap, stolen, stripped & abandoned cars on Hegenberger Loop. All the homeless camping within 300 ft of Lighthouse Charter School as well as blatantly in front of the school. Not fair for the children, parents, teachers to wade through needles, human waste, garbage & other environmental hazards not to mention the belligerence/intimidation of the transients. The school has been begging for 2 weeks to clean up the mess, remove the campers - but it's falling on deaf ears. The mayor doesn't give a 💩 about East Oakland. Shame on the City powers that be to not provide vacant City land where homeless can go, be provided porta potties, hand washing stations & dumpsters. But no they just keep allowing this to continue into the abyss of a cesspool.
